AHEAD Train-the-Trainer Session

This collaborative day of learning will focus on community health center staff that lead, facilitate, and deliver health equity-based training for their local teams. ​

• Topic: Train-the-Trainer
• When: Tuesday, June 25th 10am – 3pm​
• Where: Stoney Creek Hotel, Johnston, Iowa 

The current agenda includes:​

• How to set-up your trainings for success before, during, and after they take place​
• Facilitation ideas, exercises, and techniques for how to engage participants, and handle difficult content or discomfort​
• Overview of new FY24 training topics: Health Equity and Implicit Bias and discussion on how to sustain previous FY23 training offerings on Health Equity and SDOH (Social Drivers of Health)​
• Time to collaborate with other health center staff that are in training roles​
