This year, the National Association of Community Health Centers has designated focus days for special groups of people that are involved some way with community health centers. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Health Centers: Home of America’s Health Care Heroes”:
- August 12 – Legislative Appreciation Day
- August 13 – Honoring Health Center Heroes Day
- August 14 – Public Housing Health Center Day
- August 15 – Health Center for the Homeless Day
- August 16 – Agricultural Worker Health Center Day
- August 17 – Patient Appreciation Day
- August 18 – Children’s Health Day
