The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a PRN family medicine nurse practitioner(NP) or physician assistant (PA) for a migrant farmworker program in Iowa that provides agricultural workers with affordable healthcare, education assistance, and job training.
Practice Details:
- Serving migrant and seasonal farmworkers across Iowa in mobile health clinics.
- Travel to clinics at farmworker job sites, community centers, and clinics held at Proteus offices (locations change year to year)
- Perform patient visits, conduct health histories and physicals, diagnose, determine course of action, order labs and tests, interpret results within scope of practice
- Bilingual: English and Spanish a plus
- New grads welcome to apply prior to graduation and certification
- Would need commitment outside a full-time job to one evening a week or similar scheduling.

Health Center Overview:
- Hold clinics at 3 office locations – Des Moines, Fort Dodge, and Iowa City throughout the year, and mobile clinics in other areas.
