The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a general dentist for a community health center in Columbus City, Iowa.

Position Details:
- Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/week (4 of these hours admin time). Would consider full time status down to 30 hours/week working no less than 3 days a week
- Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM with Wednesday evening until 7 PM.
- Patients: 15-25 patients/ day; 60 minutes for treatment; 45 minutes for child recalls.
- Evenings: Some evenings are possible, until about 6:30 PM, to offer evening hours to patients.
- Current Staff: 1 full time dentist (or two part time dentists), 2 dental hygienists, and 3 dental assistants.
- Operatories: 3
- Call: No Call
- Skills desired: Able to provide routine exams and cleanings, simple and surgical extractions, stainless steel crowns, restorative (composite, glass ionomer, and amalgam). Plans to implement services for crowns and bridge work.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly desired

- Base salary + production
- CME: 5-10 days per year based on experience + $3,000-$4,000/year
- PTO: 20-28 days per year
- Holidays: 7 paid
- Retirement Plan: 403b plan – 4% of salary plus 1% additional if employee contributes 2%; upon maxing out 403b in the calendar year – eligible to contribute to 457.
