Ensuring Access to Comprehensive Care

Community health centers (CHCs) are the nation’s largest source of comprehensive primary care for medically under-resourced communities and populations. Through an integrated care model, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients are able to access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

The Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA) supports Iowa's community health centers (CHCs) and their ongoing commitment to provide quality, affordable, and accessible primary and preventive healthcare services in rural and other under-resourced communities. Our work focuses on our mission of enhancing CHCs’ capacity to care.

With our two sister companies – IowaHealth+, a clinically integrated network owned and managed by 11 Iowa CHCs and the Iowa PCA dedicated to providing payor agnostic and value-based care while furthering the unique mission of CHCs and INConcertCare, our health information technology organization that provides essential technology and data support to Iowa’s CHCs – we provide a wide range of supports and are strong partners throughout the healthcare system.
