Iowa PCA Events

We are excited to invite health center CEOs, other C-suite members, workforce/HR leaders, Health Equity Champions, and clinical, quality, and population health leaders to attend the Iowa PCA's Annual Strategic Agility session being held on Tuesday, December 12th from 10:00 - 4:00 at the Iowa PCA offices. 

Strategic Intent: We seek to meet on an annual basis to focus intentional dialogue on what’s changing and how we can best ensure our success in meeting our shared mission and vision. We also seek to align local and statewide strategic priorities, recognizing the increasingly interconnected work of the network and local CHCs. Finally, we will use our advocacy strategies to clear a path to realize our future vision.

Value Proposition: The healthcare sector is dynamic and constantly changing. Our strength will be how we anticipate and synthesize those changes, take advantage of opportunities to leverage our collective impact and resources, and ensure the needs of our patients are understood.

Session Purpose and Objectives: Facilitate strategic agility exercises with health center leaders that consider equity, our advocacy role, and opportunities for collective impact. By the end of the session, we will have:

• Proactively identified current and future challenges and opportunities, alongside environmental forces and trends. Prioritize a set of emerging solutions for the network to explore.
• Determined if any current network strategic plan objectives or projects need to be modified or re-prioritized.
• Reached directional alignment for strategic projects for network kick-off of 2024 – 2025 strategic planning.

Purpose: Define components of the IowaHealth+ Model of Care to do the following:

• Articulate how our network functions, relates to other systems, and produces desired outcomes (roles, responsibilities, etc)
• Standardize necessary definitions, processes, and components to ensure we can meet expectations (contractual and otherwise)

6.15 Consumer Advisory Committee. There shall be a Consumer Advisory Committee which provides advice to the Board on Company policies and programs including, but not limited to, policies and programs related to cultural competency; outreach plans; and beneficiary educational materials, prevention programs, and satisfaction surveys

Participation is required and tracked for the Participation Standards

Attendees include: Certified Application Counselors, Registration Leadership, other health center leadership as identified by the health center. (Members only)

Meeting to determine and execute on a set of workforce strategies that can be supported at the network level based on priorities and data within the health centers.
