Family Medicine Physician in Sioux City, IA

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for a Family Medicine Physician for Siouxland Community Health Center in Sioux City, IA.

Practice Details:

  • Provider Schedule: Three days 8am-5pm and one-day 8am-8pm
  • Patients: 18 on average per 8-hour day or 9 per 4 hours
  • Number of Exam Rooms: 3 per provider
  • Current Staff: 1 CMO, 5 Physicians, 1 DNP, 9 Nurse Practitioners, 5 Physician Assistants
  • Call (1:6 with new provider): Week and weekend call alternated among team. Equates to 9 weekends per year.   Round on newborns at UnityPoint and newborns and pediatrics patients at Mercy.  Time out of your clinic day is given to round on these patients and hospitals are in close proximity.
  • Supervisory responsibilities for ARNP/PA providers
  • Someone who is interested in providing care to the underserved population
