Chief Medical Officer- Dubuque, IA

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively searching for a Chief Medical Officer at a Community Health Center in Dubuque, IA.

Practice Details:

  • Clinic Hours: M, T, Th, F 8:00am-5:00pm, W 10:00am-7:00pm, 32-40 hours per week, 4- or 5-day work week
  • Current Staff: 1 Physician, part-time Pediatrician, 3 NPS, part-time Physician, 1-2 nursing staff per provider
  • Number of exam rooms: 18
  • Call: No call or nights or weekends, after hours call answer service
  • Split of patient care and administrative duties negotiable
  • Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and in collaboration with other members of the Administrative Team, the CMO leads, develops, implements evaluates, and revises the medical delivery of primary care, performance improvement activities, referral, tracking, and coordination of patient care at Crescent Community Health Center.

  • Shares in administrative functions that directly impact medical services and collaborates with other CCHC administrators in overall planning and budget activities.

  • Ensures the delivery of quality, evidence-based, primary medical care to all patients.

  • Perform professional, high-quality medical care to patients in low income and medically underserved populations
