Chief Dental Officer - West Burlington, IA

To provide affordable, comprehensive, culturally appropriate, cost-effective care to residents of southeastern Iowa.

Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/week with 16 hours/week CDO responsibilities; 24 hours practicing Dentist.
Clinic Hours: M – F: 8AM – 5PM with some evening hours
Patient schedule: 60 minutes for treatment, 45 minutes for child recalls.
Avg Patients: 15-25 patients/day
Current Staff: across 3 dental clinic locations – 5 full time dentists, 2 locums, 8 dental hygienists. Currently recruiting full time dentists to fill the locums. Each dentist typically has 2-3 dental assistants.
Call: no call responsibility
Procedural skills: able to provide routine exams and cleanings, simple and surgical extractions, stainless steel crowns, restorative (composite, glass ionomer, and amalgam). Eventually the health center will be providing crowns/bridge work.
Other notes: DDS or DMD with at least 3 years of practice experience, thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of modern dentistry and dental hygiene, and ability to work within a team setting and able to relate to the special needs of our patient population.

Eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment with two year commitment & option to renew!
Reimbursement for licensing costs
CME: $3,000 - $4,000/year + 5-10 days /year
Retirement Plan: 403B (2% contribution by you would then receive full company contribution of 5%) & 457 Plan available
Compensation: salary + production incentives
Contract Length: 3-5 year minimum commitment
