340B: Back to Basics     
In this introductory discussion we’ll explore the 340B Program’s beginnings and basic compliance requirements as well as introduce the terminology that will be used for the remainder of the workshop.

Contract pharmacy relationships           
Beyond the basics: We’ll take a detailed look at contract pharmacy relationships, including the benefits and pitfalls.  Additionally, we’ll review essential elements of a pharmacy service agreement
11:00 am – 12:00 pm  In-house Pharmacies    
This session will explore the world of CHC-owned pharmacies, including specific compliance concerns.

 12:45 – 2:15 pm Self-audits, Program Oversight & Staff Compliance        
Let’s take a deep dive into self-audits!  This topic will cover in-depth auditing, including self-auditing resources and tools available to CHC’s, as well as in-depth reviews on an annual basis.
  2:15- 2:30 pm Break
  2:30 – 3:30 pm HRSA Audits & Common Missteps          
This session will review recent HRSA audit findings and discuss common compliance issues.  We’ll offer key take-aways that you can review in your Program today to see if you’re on the right track for compliance.
  2:45 – 3:00 pm Break
  3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Q&A/ Case Studies        
This will be a facilitated discussion with Iowa PCA members to discuss compliance challenges and operational challenges faced specifically by Iowa PCA members, along with peer perspectives on practical solutions to the challenges.
